HS Brav-o (Bravo) is a 2004 15.2 hand Hungarian Warmblood gelding (Sportlo book). We began our adventures together in August, 2009. Bravo is my third “real” dressage horse, having brought up a young horse (James, aka Kryptonite) through second level with the help of my trainers in VA and NC, and progressed on through fourth level with another (Graham, aka S’More Art).

I started riding when I was 7, trying various disciplines along the way before finding dressage. I love the partnership that dressage fosters, and I love to compete. Luckily I have been able to live and train in areas of the country where the dressage opportunities are plentiful.

I’m looking forward to the challenge of bringing a young horse along again. Bravo is a talented, opinionated, and smart little guy–and the journey up the levels will not be easy. Along the way I hope we both learn a lot more about dressage, training, and life!
